New Ka-Closet

Over the last three years, this closet has been created, updated, and improved more than any other part of the house. This is excluding the leak in the roof that is on it's 6th extensive repair. Don't mention that one to D. It's a fragile topic that is mostly explained in exasperated non-words.

Alden is growing and his need (our need) for better storage is now accommodated. Dustin did a great job and we are all better off for it!

Hide-and-Seek

At any moment in our home, Alden is being hunted. He'll hide randomly and we'll seek when we notice it is far too quiet.


Hide. Yell "walla, walla" until we find him. Repeat.

We're Almost There!

You can almost see the spring curly willow leaf buds through the holiday lights on our porch. This means two things:
1) It is nearly mother-lovin' spring. Sun. Bright. Not so cutty and sad.
2) We are that family that has Christmas lights still up in March.
c) It is nearly my birthday. My birthday toe is itching to get broken again...

The family that brushes together also flosses together.

Indoor Activities

Going on month 80 of cold and wet outdoors, we are all cabin fevered out. Things are getting real here, y'all. Real.

Alden has gone ferrel with boredom. But little indoor activities keep him focused for a bit.

Tu Tu Tun Lodge Wedding Weekend

Dustin's profession has always provided an income sufficient to live and dream on. One of the greatest perks is that he typically needs an assistant. Me! We then get to work together and - like this job - gave us a little vacation together.

In Gold Beach, Oregon, the Tu Tu Tun Lodge looks upon the Rogue River's end as it meets the Pacific Ocean. I felt an instant friendship with all of the locals because we share the same river. Until now, I have always felt like the Rogue was just ours in Grants Pass. Our little friend that we fish at, swim in, and laze by. But Gold Beach treats it well too. We are family.

Holiday Gathering

Growing up, we would celebrate Christmas with our Portland family - my aunt Chris, uncle Rick, and three cousins. It has been fun to have a new generation grow up together. This was from Christmas eve at Grandma Robbie's house.
